Overcoming Information Overload in Medical UX.
Dr. Pinkston’s original site was functional but clinically dense. It suffered from "information overload"—relying on long, unstructured text blocks to explain complex autoimmune conditions. It lacked visual hierarchy, making it difficult for patients in pain to quickly find pricing or booking details. The aesthetic was outdated and rigid, failing to convey the "holistic" and compassionate approach that differentiates her practice.
A "Calm-First" Technical Architecture.
I re-engineered the user journey to mirror the clinic’s philosophy: clarity and peace. I replaced static HTML text dumps with a dynamic Framer CMS for "Conditions," allowing the client to update protocols without breaking the layout. Visually, I implemented a card-based UI system with whitespace-heavy typography (Inter) to reduce cognitive load. I also integrated "Trust Signals" (patient counts, ratings) directly into the Hero section to build immediate authority.
From "Medical Directory" to "Digital Sanctuary.
The new platform doesn't just list services; it guides patients. The site now loads instantly and scales perfectly across mobile devices, which is critical for patients seeking urgent care. By shifting to a modular design system, the brand now looks as premium as the $699 evaluation price point suggests. The result is a high-performance asset that builds trust before the patient even walks through the door.
